How can i become a certified personal trainer? Is it hard?
Im thinking about becoming a personal trainer…I have a passion for health and fitness…
Would I have to go to personal training school before I take the exam or is that optional?? How long does it take to become certified?? What is the best program to take the exam that offers a reasonable prices for the exam fees. I just looked up NASM and is the exam fees cost $500-$600, which is way too expensive! I would like to become a on-on-one trainer or work at a local gym as a part-time job while attending college…
It has horrible pay, doesn’t make you that much smarter about fitness at all, and is a full time job. Don’t do it.

The very beginning…I’m like fitness with training wheels, help?
Let me be honest, I don’t know how to eat, when to exercise, how to exercise effectivly, nothing really. I just wanna look good, ya know, nice abs, nice arms and back. BUT, I am smart enough to know that I can’t just expect to have by just doing reps. I understand there are variables to follow, I just need to know where to start.
thanks.
I would suggest getting a gym membership that includes personal trainer sessions in the cost. You’ll learn about proper exercise methods, how to use the machines, diet etc.

Is it normal to gain weight starting a fitness regimen?
I’m a belly dance and have been recently doing a lot more strength training and cardio to improve my dance. I’ve also been drinking a lo tmore water and eating healthier. The thing is… I’ve gained 5lbs in one week!! I’m not fat so the weight gain doesnt bother me too much but I was wondering if I should stop because I will continue to gain weight? I;m a belly dancer so I don’t want to get too heavy it will mess up my dancing the way I am used to it. Thanks!
It’s muscles you usually get that when you work out more then daily and eat healthy remember muscle weighs more than fat. You not fat if you do cardio and belly dance so go on and do your thang.
