Why does my back make a popping sound when I do sit-ups?
I’m training for a personal fitness test that requires me to do several sit-ups in one minute. I noticed that on my way down (during the sit-up) my back makes a popping sound! It doesn’t hurt but it’s scaring the hell out of me. I’m so afraid that one day I’m going to wake up and not be able to move or something. Should I be concerned? Is it a matter of bad form or just tight muscles? How can I stop it?
That popping noise is misaligned joints in your back , it is common for the spine & neck to get out of alignment some times you can streach yourself out but you may want to see a perfesional just to be on the safe side…

In US courts, can SCOTUS exercise judicial review of a law without a test case?
In other words, can citizens create a test case to challenge a law when there is no actual violation? I would like to know what this process is called. I remember learning about it in high school US history class but the name of the process escapes me.

A case has to be ripe, and the person bringing the court action has to have standing, or else it’ll never make it to the Supreme Court.

I need help regarding detox/fasting~!~!?
I am planning to lose weight and have already started my diet.However feel confused as read many articles regarding detoxing or fasting for few days to clense the body first~!~! Please advice how to do it and what kind of fasting should i do….. Example eat what kind of food/drinks during detox period.

Monday: 40 mins of Yogalates
Tuesday: 1 hour of step aerobics class
Wednesday: 45 mins of Yoga + 1 hour of hip-hop dance
Thursday : 1 hour of pilates
Friday: 1 hour street dance (MAYBE)
Sat and Sun = rest
I know its cramped together with the weekend rest but due to the gym timetable it’s out of my control. WIll it damage me if I do it this way?

Sounds good, a bit of general advice if i may:
If you are just starting this amount of exercise then maybe drop at least one day (like Wednesday) to give yourself a break and make sure you don’t tire out too quickly or make yourself sick.
Also, try to eat well; healthy foods decent amount of protein.
Other than that, have fun and best of luck.

why is it that when i go on a detox diet, i only lose water weight?
it’s not like i’m starving myself. I’m filling myself up constantly with fruits and veggies, but i only lose water weight… why don’t i lose fat?! if i was starving, i’d be losing muscle weight but im not starving…
why only water weight??
if you eat too much or don’t eat enough, you won’t lose weight. you also have to exercise every day. maybe you need to look at your diet or exercise routine. I can only guess because you haven’t given a lot of information.
