Toronto Personal Trainer

What are my chances for getting into these Universities?/ What others would you recommend?
I’m a Junior, I attend a public school in Ohio. My district is one of the best in Ohio as far as public schools go. I have a 3.4 GPA. I don’t take any honors classes, just some enriched and average classes. I do a decent ammount of community service, and I also play baseball. I’m looking into Education, Business/Marketing, or Exercise Science (or something like a physical trainer). I scored a 25 on the ACT, have not taken the SAT. I’m a good test taker but, I’m pretty lazy. I’m looking at the following schools; Pittsburgh, Butler, Wake Forest (wishful thinking, i know). If anyone could give me any idea of my chances of getting into those schools it would be appreciated. Also, if anyone has any suggestions those would also be appreciated. I like big cities, looking for schools that are on the larger side.Thanks.

You can type in a college you’re interested in and it’ll tell you the percentage of people that get in, what type of area it’s in, and what GPAs students have when they get admitted.
You should probably also take the SATs. If you’re looking to go right from high school to a four-year school, most colleges want SAT scores.

why is my new chihuahua mutt suddenly shedding, after two months?
when i first got her, she never shed at all! then i was reading all this stuff about prey-model raw feeding and decided to try it out. it seems like she started shedding around the same time i started the new diet, and i know that on the raw feeding message boards they say that the dog goes thru “detox” when you start raw, which makes them lose their old coat in order to grow a new “amazing” coat. i have always been sort of skeptical about things that claim to “detox” (ear candles, chinese foot patches, colon cleansers, apple cider vinegar), so i don’t really feel comfortable with that explanation. it seems more like she is reacting badly to the diet. the vet says to feed a good holistic food, like the wellness she was originally eating before the raw diet. any experts? maybe i’ll just feed raw for treats from now on…
I don’t know if your dog is blowing coat due to the feeding, or not, but it’s about the right time of year for dogs to blow coat anyway – Winter is coming, and its time to dump the old fur and get nice fluffy new fur before the cold gets here.
Don’t sweat it – just brush out her coat frequently, and keep a weather eye out for bald patches. So long as she’s not getting bald patches, you’re almost certainly fine. If you want to help the coat quality, some people recommend fish oil capsules, one a day, but if she’s eating a well-balanced diet, they aren’t really necessary.

okay so ive got tendinitis in my knee and i love to dance ive been doing hip hop for 5 years and now i want to do modern or jazz but i dont know if its a good idea ive been going to rehab to strengthen my knee and she does most of the exercises that i would do in modern… so should i go for it
and for the dance schools part im looking for a place thats reputable but not overly priced… im looking for something with modern or jazz so yea.. o btw its for beginner classes and yea

Fitness group class, 3 times a week, 1 hour hybrid class of resistance training, cardio and stretching?
How much would you pay for a unique hybrid class that is done in groups of 10 on 10 identical fully equipped stations. Each class would include planned
1. strength/resistance training working major muscle groups each class with various exciting exercises
2. high intense cardio before and after workout and in between some sets (running, jumps, burpees, cycling, boxing, kickboxing)
3. stretching
Each class would be challanging but resistance could be changed based on and set according to fitness level/condition of member.
Everybody would be entitled to work out three times a week for an hour in a fixed schedule.
So when signing up people have to choose the time slots they will work out. That will guarantee them a station for those workouts.
Usually the charge for these kind of classes is about $10/£5 per hour long class and i think thats pretty reasonable as its affordable for most people.

Military with Engineering Degree?
I am a big guy who has just trained up to meet the physical fitness requirements for the military. I will be graduating with a mechanical engineering degree and am looking at the military just because I feel a call for duty. I was wondering… What branch would be the best with my engineering background ( leaning towards AF or Navy) ? what can become of it? Should I do some type of officier program after basic? How much standing is involved because i have a fused ankle and standing for long periods can be a pain but ignore this part of this question if you need to answer the other parts? I want/need/seek direction from experienced individuals to help me with my life. And what exactly am I signing up for.

The fused ankle might be an issue, but that’ll be determined by military docs.
Talk to recruiters. Tell them you want to be an officer. Some military branches put you through basic training first, others skip that part and go straight to officer training. You have a pretty valuable skill, thanks for considering using it towards service.
