i want to eat just fruits & veggies for a week, and then revamp my diet after that because i feel really unhealthy. im going shopping this morning for things that i can eat while detoxing; do you think you could list possible fruits and veggies that are good choices for this? i need as many as i can get! also, some teas that are good to get? thank you!

I am teaching for the first time by myself tomorrow. My main fear is that I won’t know what to do if someone is injured. Should I bring a first aid kit (I have assorted sized bandaids, neosporin, cold compress, and pain pill is that enough?). How much first aid should I administer? I mean say a kid gets a bloody nose, am I expected to stop class and deal with that, or should I have the kids parents paged and let them deal with that. We are at a healthclub and none of the parents watch the class they go elsewhere or go upstairs and exercise. I am dealling with kids 6-10. Then if there is a REAL emergency should I call 911 first or the kids parents, and if so when should I call 911. I have taken a first aid unit 2 years ago. I know cpr but have not been certified– could I get in trouble for preforming it if need be? I know kind of wrong category but figure most instructors have probably dealt with this before.

Leave the pills at home. Giving a pill to another person is illegal, even if it is just medicine and you are trying to help. You could get in big trouble and unnecessarily so. There should be a first aid kit at the health club. It is required by law that businesses have sufficient first aid kits and fire extinguishers for their amount of clientele.
If a kid gets a bloody nose, it’s not really a big deal. Class can continue on as Shihan J suggested by placing another student in charge, or giving the class a task/exercise to do while you take care of the nose bleed. You will NOT get in trouble for administering CPR. If you know how to do it and you do not help you could then get into trouble. The reason you will not get in trouble for using it is called the GOOD SAMARITAN LAW.
Call 911 and send somebody else for help if something that bad happens.
EDIT – Giving out medication when you are an unlicensed physician can land you in big trouble if anything goes wrong and can be attributed to that fact. The majority of people don’t pay attention to that fact or give it any reall heed as it’s a common medicine and can be sold over the counter. However, you will notice that corporate companies will not allow any employee to bring open medicines to work or give out medicines no matter what they are based on the legal liability.

They all sound good ideas.
But build one website before starting another. Spreading yourself to thin may compromise the quality of the other websites, and as a result affect traffic. Remember you need the traffice to be able to monetize.
First choose the the idea you prefer, the subject you are most familar with. Because it will be easier to build your own content.
Within the idea, think about the niche market, to attract traffic you need lots of content and good keywords. How long does it take to get as fit as a soldier? 10 pts!!?
I want to join the army but I want to be as fit as a soldier befor i join. How long would it take to get to that level of fitness? also what training do i have to do and how often? eg. every day swim 500m. Also what would be some good strength training i could do and some exercises to improve full body strength. Im looking to this in a period of 3-6 months if possible.
So im looking for a everyday planner along with diet if nessisary? i work a standard 8-4pm job so it needs to work around that? I have acess to a gym & swimming pool too. My fitness level at the moment isnt too great. im 5’11 and weigh 74Kgs (163lbs). Also if possible i would like to work abit of upper body bulking in there if possible (not essential) and i need to be able climb rope good to. and improved abdominal strength. Run. And run a lot. The other stuff will come much easier when you are able to run over 5 miles without stopping.

Lots of bodyweight exercises, and running. Weights are okay, but they really don’t translate much to fighting unless you are doing explosive types of workouts. Pullups, pushups, bodyweight squats, crunches, running, and jumping rope till you burn, is enough for a start. I’m a little extreme though. You can go till you feel your body is good and worked.
I’ve been doing a little bit of research on the topic and I am interested in trying a detox diet. Any suggestions on websites that have plans? What should I do to prepare for a detox? What are some negative side effects and how bad are they, how long do they last? Also, if you have done a detox diet, how did you benefit from it? (Clearer skin, weight loss, less gas/bloating?) Just buty light weights, for your arms, use the stair case, walk up the store, if you need to go out of the house ask yourself can i get this work done by walking.
In the house, with the support of the dinning chair (back of the chair) do sit ups 50 times good for your legs,
lie down inthe living room, by locking your feet under the sofa, and do 100 abs.
imagine you are having a skipping rope and skip 200 times, good aerobic exercise.
fix a time for the work out, so you know you have to work out, it can be while you are watching tv. Keep a weighing machine in the bathroom so you check your weight daily, this will keep you motivated to keep your check in control,
stick to your diet and being vegetarian is always good.
some of the exercises can be done while while cooking,
continue you yoga because it brings the best flexibility.

Anyone notice how being fat has become the description of “healthy” now?
This girl in my class was describing herself as “fit and healthy” because she plays a lot of sports. But she’s fat. I mean, she’s not lean at all…..just chubby. I’m sure she can run around and play sports, but that doesn’t make her “healthy” in my opinion.
And then you notice people describing fat models/girls as “healthy”….because they want to rebel against the skinny image so badly so they call anyone who is fat as “healthy”. Again this is misleading.
I’m not saying being anorexic is correct, because its not. But why do so many people kid themselves into thinking that fat = healthy? If you have a lardy body, I’m sorry but you are NOT HEALTHY. People who have good muscle tone and have lean body fat are healthy….not the chubbos who walk from the front door to the mailbox and then claim they ‘exercise’.

i’m skinny, but i sure have a hell of amount of muscle.
all these fat girls are talking about how they could fu@ck me up, but they can’t even run the mile. it’s getting kinda insane. i think healthy is a balance between eating healthy, actually running, not running down the block and back. this is also coming from a girl who is a competitive dancer, runner, and cheerleader. i’m 115 pounds, and sometimes girls at dance will look at me like i’m a ogre or something.
whatever, society messes everything up.
one minute we are suppose to be pencil thin, the next pretty heavy.
