Purchase Fat Burning Diet

I'm considering the raw food diet. I'd like some useful information about it especially if you have tried it yourself. I'm not trying to lose weight. I just think I'll feel healthier on a raw food diet.

I wanted to eat just fruits and veggies maybe yogurt as well but I need a little more research into it. What is a Raw food diet? Do I need to take a vitamin or something?

My cousin who is a personal trainer suggested that i do this "Detox Diet" prior to starting workout sessions with him. He says that i need to eat Tomato Soup for four days, so that my body will be cleansed and i will lose some weight prior to working out with him. How valid is this? Does anyone have any opinions?

I'm really interested in the health benefits of doing a mostly raw diet ( I read that even 75% raw is still considered a raw diet). Is there any books or sources that were invaluable when you made your dietary changes? Any tips or advice for a newbie? I'd be particularly interested in any kind of websites with a support chat or meal plans, also any books or other sources that are helpful.

I want to start a Raw Food Diet to see if I can feel any benefits from it and to test my willpower. Does anyone know any good sources of protein on a raw food diet? Or any good recipe ideas?

I am doing a detox diet that consists of limiting some foods, lemon water, detoxifying tea once daily and a colon detox pill each day. How long should I do this diet?

This is my first time to do a detox diet and I have been doing it for three days so far. I'm used to eating pretty healthy and organic, so my only side effects have been a little bit of an acne outbreak and my breath is a little more foul in the mornings than it usually is.

Also, what should I do after I have cleansed the colon? Is it okay to start doing the detox baths at that point or should I take a rest?

I'm always thinking about the idea of "absolute health"…there has to be some diet out there that is the best possible diet for a human…we have dog food figured out; the same food every day and they get all they need! Why isn't there "human food"?

So, I wonder if raw food is the most natural and healthy way to eat. It sounds good on paper, but what do you think?

someone that just don't eat cooked foods. but is okay with eating animal products as long as they are not cooked; like sushi. I'm not talking about raw vegans, which I know about, I'm talking about raw foodist.

My husband and I are both obese and need to lose 80-100 pounds each. A friend recommended a raw food diet, where you eat as much as you want without having to cook. Does anyone know where I can get info on how to begin, any supplements/vitamins that would be necessary (or how to get everything our bodies need from this type of eating), without me having to order a book?

How do I stay in running shape when there is nowhere to run?

I am leaving in a few days to Senegal, Africa for a 3 week service learning project. I run cross country during school and the trip will leave little time for summer training. It is very important to me though that I keep my fitness and even drop a couple of pounds while I’m there. I will probably not be able to get in more than one or two 3 mile runs while I’m there so I need an alternative fitness routine with no equipment, little space, and time.

I you have any suggestions on staying fit and losing weight while traveling please tell me! (Note: this is not a resort vacation so gyms and fresh foods will not be available. I will be living with a family in a village in Senegal and working during the day on projects to improve the village.)

So basically, what are some running exercises (that might not exactly be running) that will keep me at my current fitness? And how do I drop a few pounds?

I use a jump rope to stay in shape when i can’t run. I strap 1-1/2 pound ankle weights around my wrists for a great upper body workout while I am jumping.

Jumping rope works different leg muscles than running so start now and build up to a good workout. A good workout for me is 1000 to 1500 jumps in 8 to 15 minutes. I guarantee that jumping rope will keep you in shape aerobically like running sprints.

Maybe you could play a little bit of soccer in Senegal. I suspect that soccer is very popular there.

I have two wonderful cats, one is just over a year old, the other is seven years old. I am ready to start feeding them a raw food diet, but after having them both on strictly kibble diet all of their life, I am unsure as to what I should start them on. I have had people recommend chicken necks and wings, but I was wondering if anything else would be good. I would like to stay mostly in one protein source, at least at first.

Any ideas?
Lol! when I said I would like to stay in one protien source I ment until they had gotten the hang of a raw diet. So maybe for a week or two.

Basically, I want to do the lemonade diet – I think. I have a vague idea of what it involves but I'm unsure about how to make the lemonade. Also can I eat any other foods while I'm on the detox and if so, what are they?
P.S. I appreciate all the comments warning me about how bad fad diets are. But I'm not doing it for weightloss, I'm thin. I've heard that flushing toxins out of your system has other benefits.

HELP! I have recently quit my excercise source, and i need tips on training.?

The Rowing season’s finally ended, now my main source of excercise has ended. how dissapointing. now i’m going to get unfit

BUT
I recently acquired a new gym pass to fitness first in australia.
I want to practise more of the “huffnpuff” way. as in nothing very peaceful like yoga! So in technical terms, cardiovascular…. e.g. running, ergometers etc.

Also, My mind/will power isn’t very strong so i am likely to stop and start in sprints on the treadmill. I want something that makes me build up not like BOOM but more like a gradual improvement in fitness.

My dear girl ,if you do really LOves Exercise on whatever kind of weather it is ,it will not hinder you .As an avid exercicers i never doubt in weather as long as there is gym thats matter me MOst. AS i love to Challenge my body and no rest or weather is an excuse. My Goal will will be 42km run by end of year ,have you any goal? Think ? =}

Do people who are on this diet actually prefer eating cold food vs. warm?
Why can’t raw meats/fish be included in this diet? I am obviously talking theoretically about safe raw meat free of diseased bacteria. Vegetables can contain poisons from the environment just as likely as an animals meat can contain harmful bacteria’s, so given this theory – why is meat and fish left out of this lifestyle?
happybid – I think you need to reread the question. It was not, what is a Vegan? It was, why does this diet have to be veggie or Vegan?
Heelbell – you too, I know that meats and veggies can have harmful things in them; this is why I was speaking theoretically, as I stated. You can get harmful bacteria at a farmers market, nothing is absolute. Besides I grow my own. This was a question of the raw diet not including meat and fish, (which by the way I would eat steak tartar and sashimi multiple times a week without a problem.) And it's not "obvious that there are a lot of people" on it. I just happend to be a very informed, intelligent person, who likes to learn new things all the time. So next time you want to answer my question I'd appreciate it if you were not so smug and answer the question asked. Not trying to be pissy here but kind of annoid.

This means that most of your foods are in natural form and not excessively cooked or not cooked at all. Does it work? I feel really groggy. I just want to know what methods are out there to detox naturally and if it works.

My ferrets have lived a year of their life on a Marshall's ferret food diet, which I know is the worst thing a ferret can have (from all the poisonous chemicals in it). I really need to switch their diet to a raw food diet, or even a cooked meat diet, but they just won't even sniff the meat I give to them. They're stuck on their junk food and won't let go of it. Can someone please help me!?

Hello, I have already decided to feed my dogs a raw food diet. I have done research on exactly what types of protein and vegetables are good for them, and what they cannot have. I can't find anywhere how much food exactly I should give them… I mean in ounces or pounds, and how many times a day I should feed them this. Their meals will mainly consist of chicken, lamb, potatoes, carrots, and rice. They are two female adult Golden Retrievers, one a little small for her breed. Any suggestions? Thanks

Have any moms out there done a spiritual fast while nursing?

I used to fast regularly. The longest I’ve fasted was for four days at a time which I did weekly. The spiritual breakthroughs I experienced were amazing. Since giving birth, I figure I will wait until my baby is weaned, probably in about 12-15 months, but if I have another baby soon, it will be possibly a couple of years before I can fast. I also used to do colon cleansing and other detox diets. I’m not really asking about that although I could REALLY REALLY use that now, I can see it in my eyes and feel it in my energy levels. I want to know your ELABORATED opinions on fasting while breastfeeding and not just “don’t do it!!!” responses. If anyone out there has done it or knows someone who’s done it, your input would be so valuable! I’m not planning to do it, just wishing and wondering. My baby is 3 months, supplemented with about 6 oz. formula daily and at the top/above her weight level for her age. Thanks for your help!

However, generally detoxing and other cleansing is not considered safe. When you detox the store chemicals get released into your blood before being flushed out of your body. That being said 1) if you waited until your baby was 6 months old or over 12 months old it would be safer 2) You could always pump a supply beforehand assuming your baby will drink milk from something other than your breast (bottle, cup, syringe) and as long as you pump and dump while detoxing your supply would be fine.

The same goes for fasting it is somewhat safer as the baby gets older, however the older your baby the harder it can be to increase your supply if it drops. There are herbs that can help.

On a somewhat unrelated note, your “topping up” is concerning. Topping up threatens your supply and is not needed in almost all cases. And as someone who is obviously concerned about toxins in their body I am surprised you would feed that junk to your baby. I am not saying “bad mom”, however if you would like to discuss ways to eliminate the formula and the risks of formula feeding please feel free to e-mail me (consider including your e-mail address in the message as the 2000 character limit is annoying). My baby was 20 lbs at 4 months and exclusively breastfed until 6 months and even now doesn’t eat much in the way of solids (10 months). So I do have some knowledge of big babies.

I just got a 7 week old kitten and started him on the regular cat chow. But after visiting a pet food store was persuaded into trying a Raw food diet simular the the BARF diet. He seems to like it but I am conserned about feeding my kitten raw meat! They told me at the pet store that grains were bad for cats because they weren't able to diggest them. I'm very confused can anyone shed some light?
