Or having a good night’s sleep?

From my own observations, it seems that I tend to be more focused and pay attention better after eating or doing certain things.

When I don’t have a good night sleep I have difficulty hearing what people are saying, it’s like my mind blocks them out intentionally for some reason.

If I don’t eat right, I become self-absorbed and become less alert to the environment around me (bad for driving!).

If I don’t drink an energy drink on a work day I am more prone to passive-aggression and holding grudges against others, and fail to be more openminded and see things from other peoples’ point of view. I also have a harder time pleasing customers when I don’t have an energy drink to give me the boost.

But is there any scientific reason why this is? Am I just off on everything?

Purchase Fat Burning Diet

yesterday, i ate a homemade thai green curry which we later discovered was mistakenly made with enough curry paste for 24 people where there should have been a curry for 4 (6 times the amt of paste). i have a rather low tolerance of chilli and spicy food, and the result of eating this concentratedly salty and super spicy curry was immediate numbness/tingliness of my extremities, odd ringing in the ears, and general spazzing out (loss of control) almost like i was tripping or something.

the next day i brought a version of this curry (which had been diluted greatly) but when i ate it at work i had the same experience all over again! which is really not a good thing in the office.

can anyone explain to me what in the spice or curry is causing this? or is it the salt? i’d had mild versions of this "numbness and tripping out" experience with other spicy foods, but this curry has been the hottest thing i’ve eaten in ages, and the effect is pronounced and immediate….

For some reason I’m obsessed about health/energy bars, and I love to eat them. I just want to know if it’s possible for me to be overloading on them. I eat maybe 2 or 3 a day. Is there anything bad about that?

I’m not a vegan or vegetarian, but I would like to cut down on unnecessary things like sugar and caffine type things. –> ( http://sportsandcooking.com/health/be-careful-with-energy-drinks ). I don’t plan on cutting them out completely, but would like to still have lots of energy. Of course I will be drinking more water and exersizing more! Thanks for all the answers.

My small dog , 5.5 lbs of the most important thing in my whole life was being baby sat by my mother, and from what i understand somehow he got into ham and pork, diegsted a ton of it, now has pancreatitis.

He is on raw diet, and it is VERY balanced. below i have writen down basically wht it consists of. Now he needs VERY bland diet. The vet recomended Royal Canin prescribed food. But the first ingredients are fish, water, meat by product, rice, corn meal (it is a canned food). Which doesnt sound good at all.

I heard to have low fat, high fiber, bland. I also heard that fish is good? maybe?

I was thinking white fish or chicken breast, and 1 veggie (high in fiber like kidney beans or spinach), maybe add a bit of brown rice or barley???

i would LOVE suggestions. Thank you so much in advance!

If not why?
if so, what foods would make up for lower energy?

I have about a 6" red ear slider turtle… about 2 yrs old. I feed him, but there is NEVER food just floating in his tank. I clean is tank about 1 time a week. With in about 1-2 days after cleaning is tank it is green and cloudy and hard to see through. and It smells SUPER bad. He is in my bedroom and you can smell the odor coming out of my door and it lingers in the living room until I clean his tank. I have a UV light and a heat light also. I also have a Duetto 100 filter. I feed him in the A.M., "turtle Bites" brand food and for lunch a few "Turtle Treats" brand treats and right before bed some more "Turtle Bites’ brand food. and I ALWAYS make sure that he finishes ALL food I give him. So WHY does it smell so bad and What can I do to get the stink out?

I DO clean my filter a LOT. And also he is in a 20 gallon LONG tank, right now he has a lot of room. So My Duteeo 100 filter circuates about 20 gallons… so Should i get a filter that atleast doubles this circulation?

im a veggie trying to be more healthy, i like quorn, sweetcorn, pasta, potato, soup,onions, any veg but not mushroom, you see i know veggies are supposed to love them but since i have never eaten meat test prove that people who have never eaten meat dont like mushroom texture.

A few years ago I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis and was hospitalised. Before that I had been on many drugs, anti inflamatories, anti depressants all sorts.

After going through virtually ALL of the OTC supplements and facial regimes, I decided to take a deeper look at my acne. I figured, since I had been on so many drugs, I may have a fungal overgrowth in my body. I had a ‘hair test’ done and the main stressor in my body, was indeed fungal in nature. Possibly candida. I went on a three month candida diet, excluding almost all sugar, the only sugar I ate were natural occuring sugars in vegetables like spinach, drank a hell of a lot of alkaline filtered water and took garlic and pau d’arco supplements.
Result?
NOTHING

I think thought, I may naturally just have an excessively oily face. So I started taking vilantae B5 from evolution X. I must admit, this did clear my acne a small amount. At the same time I was using Acne Free skin care routine. This combination did not rid me of acne, but it cleared it up about 40%.

I then decided I couldn’t afford this anymore. £30 per bottle of vilantae is far too expensive!
I thought, maybe due to my colon and digestive problems in the past, I may have a toxic colon, or my liver my be struggling to get rid of toxins, thus it is excreting them via my skin.

So I did a 5 day liver detox (very unpleasant) and then went on to do a three day apple cleanse, taking anti fungal enemas everyday (the same as acne free in 3 days routine). The result? I noticed ONE pimple dissapeared, the rest stayed and my face stayed the same.

I then decided to do a colon cleanse, and purchased (cautiously) the colon cleansing kit from blessed herbs. I did the whole cleanse, and although it did work, nothing has changed with my face! Infact, today my face has broken out even more sad.gif.

The colon cleanse involved a completely raw diet three days up to the cleanse, then five days of apple juice. I am now still eating a raw diet but my face looks terrible!

I have been on accutane and all the others…I dont want to go back on medication for it. The accutane messed my liver up.

I really don’t know what to do anymore, I am at my wits end. Someone please help sad.gif. I am so frustrated and lost so much self esteem.

i am happy with my weight, 120(im 5′7, 16yrs old) but i have some areas i want to tune up and i know cutting back on my diet will help.

i live in the south so fried foods are hard to escape from-espceially for supper. BUT i know i can cut back some. i also am a heavy coke drinker. i know i can subsitute water and it would make a big difference.

but other than that idk what to do. fruits and vegetbales, i know those are good. but what is a good healty meat to eat?? i just need some advice on what to substitute for what.
