She was not feeling like herself this last weekend. at first she was eating and but then she puking and when she is not eating and only drinking water. She puke that water out too in form like saliva (lots of it). I took her to the vet and the vet said she has throat infection and maybe stomach bug. he gave her a shot and medications for it for couple days and if she is not feeling well she has to go back in couple days. IT only been yesterday and she already took the medicine (doxycyline) 3 times. As soon as she took it she drink lots of water and then puking that too (salivating). I tried everything the doctor say by keeping her hydrated and feed her but she wouldn’t eat or drink it, everything coming right back out. What is wrong with her?

Im 19 years old, 160 pounds. Im already pretty active but i eat alot. So aside from ditching soda and fast food, what kinda of diet should i live by in order to loose wheight, stay healthty and fit?

my dad died of a heart attack and he had diabetes so i dont want to fall into the same tracks.

What are the pros & cons of being on either one? Right now I’m on a raw food diet & have now lost 8 lbs in 6 weeks. My friend is on a protein rich diet and has lost 20 lbs in two months.

My wife and I have not had steak for a few weeks. Last night we had steak (cooked perfectly medium by me, I might add) and a big salad. We eat mostly chicken. After eating we both had tons of energy and felt great. I wonder if we were low on Iron or Protein from eating mostly chicken?
The salad base was spinich, the rest was typical veggies. No bread. And of course the steak by itself.

I am a healthy 58 year old man. Around the first of September 2008, I noticed a reduction in my energy level. Nothing else has changed, just the loss of energy. I sleep well, eat right, no appreciable depression issues…I’m just "weak", and have a loss of stamina. I take a Stresstab multivitamin daily and get exercise. Any ideas??

I am not a spiritual person, but I was on a raw food for a diet a month or so and I regretfully got off. It was an amazing experience, the way I felt overall was great even my senses seemed heightened. I ask here because I figured some religious people might be into fasting or similar diets. My plan is to go on 30 days juice fast and transition into raw foods.

I have hockey every Friday night and notice some nights I have a lot more energy while other nights I get tired extremely fast. I’m assuming what I eat the night before and day of the games have a lot to do with my energy level. What should I eat the night before and especially throughout Friday to ensure I’ll have plenty of energy for my games?

My green singing male Finch ONLY eats the small spherical dark-colored rape seeds and will not, ever, ever eat millet in the seed blend, or canary grass seed, or oat groats or…anything else!

Well, he does eat corn but rape seeds and corn are the only things he eats and I am frustrated since I care for his health and I am afraid he is not getting proper nutrition.

What can I do to get him to eat other foods without me investing hours into "training" him with a clicker or what not?

my doctor put me on a : NO flour, no yeast, no bread, no sugars, no dairy diet. i need food and drink ideas. especially drink ideas. i can’t live on ONLY water. gee whiz. no artificial sweetners either. any help?
And No acid stuff, no carbonated stuff, and no juices.

I’ve gotten lazy lately and lost energy. I stopped exercising and I’m afraid to pack on pounds.
I started exercising and watched what I ate in the beginning of this year. After about 4 months, I lost 19lb. I went from 173 to 154lb. I’m not satisfied with it but I’m glad I progressed. But that was all during school. Since I was busy all day (shool and work), eating wasn’t on my mind all the time. Even though I was tired, I pushed myself to exercise when I came home in the evening or before I went to work in the morning. Now I am trying to lose a little more weight. I have almost no energy. I’ve gotten really lazy. I go to work and come home and just sit around and watch tv. Not only that I eat too much. This morning I managed to force myself to put on my running shoes. I ran for no more than 10 minutes and sat down. My feet are always so tired from work and the summer heat makes me want to sit around even more. I’m so frustrated with myself.
