Try Eukenuba Response LB canned food. A freind of mine with a cat that had chronic diarrhea for 4 years tried everything - food and medication. Then she switched the cat food to Eukenuba Resonse LB and it cured the problem. Amazing. You may want to see if this works for your kitty.

Raw food would be hard to digest. Chicken is the easiest food for a cat to digest. I suggest you prepare some chicken poached in broth for her. That way you will avoid additives and anything that could upset her stomach. Some poached white fish would probably be good for her, too.

I have 7 dogs and 4 cats...all of my animals are on the "raw" diet. It might take a little adjusting to get them used to it...but all my pets are doing great!!! Its a lot healthier because they dont eat all the yucky stuff thats in cat/dog food. And its supposed to help them live longer. We've been doing it for about 4 years now and theres no way I'd go back. It might be a lot of work sometimes, but its so worth it!

You have to remember one thing about cats, their systems are different then most other animals. They can digest a lot of "crap", it's amazing. It's sort of awful to look at what is in cat's food, but it is all ok for the cats.
As far as raw meat for a cat, well, I don't feed it to my cat, but I certainly can't see how it could hurt a cat, they are carnivores. They are related to lions, and they eat raw meat. I would just be sure that you got raw meat that didn't have anything bad in it. It would be the same thing that we have to worry about, why we have to be sure to cook our food carefully. I'm not sure about worms and things like that.
I do think that going to a holistic vet is a fantistic idea. If the cat has problems one of the things I have heard works great for sick animals is accupuncture. I have been trying to get my cats in for getting their teeth cleaned by a vet who uses accupuncture instead of having them knocked out.
