If you need energy, is it okay to eat high calorie fast food every now and then?
I mean calories = energy, right? So therefore is it okay every now and then if we are feeling tired, fatigued, etc to eat some fast food burgers/fries, etc, for some quick and powerful energy boosts?
That’s real energy too, not the fake kind that caffeine produces.

Yes, sometimes it’s your body’s way of saying I NEED FAT or SUGAR etc. If you typically eat too healthy, sometimes you will reach a low level of energy and need to restore. And of course you should go ahead and kill the cravings, give in, enjoy, and then eat healthy again around that meal. If you’re keeping your calories in check too you should be able to handle this no problem.
Yes and no…yes now n then it give your metabolism a boost…however you tend to get used to this…so better go for a drink like red bull…

That isn’t the best thing because burgers and stuff like that gives you energy for maybe an hour and then you just feel tired again so if you have a apple or orange that will give you natural sugar instead of artificial.
Well…those kinds of yummy foods are alright sometimes, but I don’t know if you can argue about them giving you energy. Not all calories are created equal. A ‘high’ calorie snack involving a yogurt full of calcium and a wheat muffin full of fiber is going to give you a ton more value and energy in 400 calories than an order of small French fries from fast food that also has 400 calories. But I do believe some enjoyment from fast food is fine every so often!
Fast food is not so much calories than it is just fat that enters your system, but produces a short burst of energy. It’s better to have high carb foods, like bread and potatoes, so you have more energy, for longer.
my personal feeling is thtat kind of food will zap your energy … so it does the opposite of what you wnt. you might consider trying a lara bar which is mainly dates and other plant based foods. there is also another brand similar to lara and it’s called raw revolution
Yes, definitely. Everyone is always saying its so horrible and all that, but don’t worry. Lets face it, fast food is delicious, and gives us energy. So don’t feel bad about stopping by Wendy’s or BK or whatever every once in a while. Hey, but be careful because if you eat too much, that can be problematic. Now i want you to go get in your car, and go buy a double chese burger w/fries. Have fun
