Know anything about Raw Foodism?
I’m already vegan (vegetarian for a year, vegan for 4 months) and I’m ready to take it a step further with Raw Foodism. If you know anything at all about the topic (I don’t want to hear that is is bad for me), anything from recipes to things that I can eat in general, it would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

Why is raw food limited automatically to veggies/fruits/plants and vegetarians/vegans? The Japanese eat a lot of raw meat and so do other people. Isn’t that "raw foodism" too?:
You want enzymes. That’s the beauty of a raw diet. Without enzymes we cannot live. Raw fruit and vegetables have enzymes.

I’m eating more raw foods than cooked! Nothing wrong with that! I don’t know about a complete raw food diet.. is that what you’re asking or no? If you mean just eating more raw foods than cooked that’s healthier than eating all cooked foods! I would advise eating more fruits than veggies and plenty of grains like oatmeal, cereal, sprouts, seeds.
Good for you! Although I am not a raw vegan (just vegan, for now) so I can’t offer too much I will say that I’ve heard from a number of people that there will probably be a "detox" period in which most people trying to go raw think they made a mistake and give up. Apparently depending on the person it can last anywhere from a few days to a few months. I would just suggest that you keep at it! =D
Lots of smoothies. And this will require almost daily shopping.
Have fun.
i dont think you could ever survive with just raw foodism.
unless you’re eating uncooked beans.
