Please help with an eating Plan for energy?
My fiance is often tired and experiences mild depression. I think it has to do with his diet, I have just moved in with him and would like to adapt his diet to give him energy. Thanks for your help.
I know diet wont "cure" depression but he is always tired and that is what adds tio his depression. His diet so far hasnt included many vegetables, etc. I have started him on vitamins and in the last week have seen a difference. I am looking for a list of "Super foods" as such.

more fruits and veggies and protein and good carbs, like breads pastas.
keep him away from super sugary stuff (of course you will eat some sometimes) but the sugar could cause him tiredness and even contribute to depression
however, if he drinks a lot of alcohol, that could be a problem, alcohol is a depressant and obviously could make him tired.
try making home cooked yum meals, that will excite him and keep him eating the good stuff. stick with good ol’ meat and potatoes kind of stuff with some bread and veggies thrown in.

A bad diet cannot cause depression. He needs to see a healthcare professional. There is a way deeper problem than just a poor diet. That cannot cause depression. Dieting is with ur body and depression is with ur mind…two differet things.He needs medical and professional help.
