The diet the dog Meg is talking about wasn’t fed correctly. Especially if it had bad teeth, you need to give them the bone as well.
anyway, I’ve heard of some cases. Not really food poisoning though. I can’t really recall, I think it was a parasite?
I know someone who fed their dogs a raw food diet for 2 years. the result, dry flaky skin, brittle fluffy coats, rotten teeth and fertility problems. The dogs had too much wet food and not enough trace vitamins and minerals.
Never heard of it. Dogs have a different digestive system than us, so they can handle bacteria and whatnot that may be on raw food.

My vet here has the whole town feeding their pets raw food.
My dog has eaten raw since he was 8 weeks old, he is 2 now. No probs what so ever. He will sometimes dig up an old, smelly bone and eat it.
