raw food diet will this hurt my bones?
IM A TEEN NOT AN ADULT. FYI
i wanna go a diet, but i recently found this diet called the rawfood diet.
but as i did my reserch it says that raw foods are NOT good for bones. something like bone strength and marrow.
i would never eat raw meat, but are raw fruits and vegetables ok?
or will they weaken my bones?
i just wanna know how is this possible, and is there any other diet that works.

Seeing how monkeys are related to us and all they got is a raw food diet and they are like 10x stronger than us, I say your bones will be fine ;)
Depends though, calcium, vitamin D, iron, zinc is important to our bones. So if you consider a raw food diet, you might want to choose diet with good balance of those nutrition i mentioned before. Sushi or sashimi is a good choice for your diet as they contains much of nutritious value and what’s better, they don’t tasted as bad as raw meat (I dare says that it is delicious, toro is probably the best tasted raw food available out there).
Good thing that you have done some research, because people seems to be exaggerating about things these days. Great tips passed from my MD friend, any diet that you want to follow, do it smart and think about your daily nutrition needs.
A raw food diet will not only help promote bone strength but it will help every aspect of your body! The source from which you read about this diet being bad for your bones was most likely from the dairy industry. They’ve been lying to us all along about the benefits of milk! And your right – no raw meat or milk products, just plant-based foods.
Good luck on your journey to raw food! : ) I wished I would’ve known about a raw food diet when I was a teen – I wouldn’t have had all the issues that I dealt with my whole life!
