Hi, I have mild acne and I recently found out that supposedly almost every food causes acne (dairy, oil, fats, etc.) 3 days ago i decided to eat nothing but fruits and vegetables and drink nothing but water and 100% fruit juice to attempt to cleanse my body. I can’t keep living off these foods because I love meat and sandwiches but I guess they will make my acne worse. I have not eaten chocolate, ice cream, or anything greasy such as fast food in probably 5 months. With the fruit diet I noticed a small skin imporvement but I feel less energized and light-headed constantly. I drink plent of water (6-8 cups a day). I take Proactiv for a topical treatment to couple the diet and speed up the healing process. I am going 1 more day on the diet then stopping. What are some foods I can eat other than fruits and vegetables that won’t make my acne worse? Help please? (Also, I’m 16 no complicated recipes please)

I really want to go on the raw foods diet. I’ve heard so many good things. That and all the recipes look cool in general!
When I told my dermatologist he even sugested it may be a good idea seeing how my acne doesnt seem to be getting any better.Anyways! I bought a deyhydrator,I have an old juicer etc. Nuts costs so much money, and I know many of the recipes call for nuts. I’m planning to be on it for 1-2 weeks (at first at least). Even my dad was thinking about going on it. With 2 people; how much should I buy and generally which are the main nuts to go for? Is it ok if I still drink store bought soy milk instead of making it? What about store bought Natural Peanut Butter (nuts and salt)? Will little things like that make any difference? How is it possible I dont have to worry about calorie counting with this even with the high cals you find in nuts and dried fruit? What are the foods to go easy on? One site says go forth and eat, another says to not over do nuts, avocados, fruit.
-the site that said not to over the higher fat foods could have just been saying to make sure I get a variety..right?
Do you think 1-2 weeks at a time is sufficeint?
(if you can please answer the amount of nuts I should buy question; amongst the other 1000 I asked – I really appreciate it!)

I’ve been a vegetarian for five years, but I think I want to start eating fish again. I want more energy, and I heard the omega-3 helps with depression, and helps clear skin. I don’t have bad acne or anything, but my skin could be better. Am I making a wrong decision? What fish should I start with? Some tuna?

I’m having trouble finding a raw food diet plan, so I thought I’d come here and ask you what yours was. Please don’t lecture me about any other methods of dieting, I just need an EFFECTIVE, well-balanced RAW FOOD diet plan that cuts fat fast.

Please no complicated recipes or anything, I don’t have a juicer, or anything like that. I need one that is effective, and simple.

Thank you!
I’m also interested in getting rid of my acne, and I heard the raw food diet does that. And I heard it whitens teeth, and gives you a natural "tan" or something. Don’t know if this is vital information but it couldn’t hurt to add it.

Also I’m 5’7
140 lbs

I am doing a detox diet that consists of limiting some foods, lemon water, detoxifying tea once daily and a colon detox pill each day. How long should I do this diet?

This is my first time to do a detox diet and I have been doing it for three days so far. I'm used to eating pretty healthy and organic, so my only side effects have been a little bit of an acne outbreak and my breath is a little more foul in the mornings than it usually is.

Also, what should I do after I have cleansed the colon? Is it okay to start doing the detox baths at that point or should I take a rest?
