I fed my Pom/Chi By Nature Organics canned from 8 weeks till I found Paw Naturaw and decided to switch her. I ended up bridging the gap between her last case of BN and the Paw Naturaw arriving with a homemade diet consisting of 2/3 whole boiled chicken and 1/3 veggies and fruit. I’m switching her to the frozen bison rolls (was going to do dehydrated till I found out they changed the ingredients for dehydrated) and the ingredients are : Organic grass fed bison, organic bison liver, organic spinach, organic broccoli, organic carrot, organic celery, organic apple, organic sweet potato, organic cranberry, organic cucumber, tricalcium phosphate, organic flaxseed, organic safflower oil, grass fed organic bison heart, grass fed organic bison kidney, organic lecithin, sea salt, zinc proteinate, vitamin E supplement, copper proteinate, manganese proteinate, calcium iodate, and vitamin D3 supplement.
I’m also going to rotate around a bit once I get her system used to this and also feed Paw Naturaw organic chicken and organic turkey formulas, as well as Raw Advantage organic beef recipe. So I have a few questions-
1. Should I add extra probiotics or digestive enzyme powder while switching? She gets probiotics daily as a preventative and digestive enzymes blended into her fruits and veggies
2.Should I switch slowly or go cold turkey?
3. How long should I wait before switching varieties?
4. What should I look out for? She shouldn’t have much of a detox-she’s had nothing but 100% organic and grain-free food since she was 8 weeks old
Thanks!

Purchase Fat Burning Diet

I tried it out before and went cold turkey and only lasted two days. and I always felt hungry. I guess I wasn’t eating the right foods? I’ve been vegetarian for four years now…
anyways, suggestions are welcome!

Hi there,

I’m interested in switching my cat over to a raw food diet. I currently feed him Innova kibble during the day and Wellness wet food at night.

Is it best to switch my cat over to raw gradually or should I just go "cold turkey"?

Any tips you have about switching kitty over would be much appreciated!

Also … I’ve also read about some commercial brands of frozen and freeze dried raw foods. Are these brands any good and if so, what would you recommend?

Thanks!

I started a raw food diet yesterday. I just went cold turkey and ate all raw foods yesterday. Today I’m nauseous and dry heaving constantly. Is this normal or am I just sick?
