I am looking to do a detox diet somewhere between 2 days and a week. I do not like veggies all that much, but have been trying to get them down. Has anyone tried the lemon detox diet?

Hi am very curious about this.The lemon detox site says to use mandal bay syrup, but I have checked the dept stores in my city ( Bangalore,India)not one of them has it.I read that alternatively maple syrup can be used.But the scary thing is this diet is supposed to be maintained for 2 weeks! and they say to drink this diet mix (8oz)6-8 times in a day .Do they mean 8oz* 6 times or what.Anyone know more about this please help & I don’t want information or links to colon cleansing please :)

The DVD just involves random z list celebrities popping up on screen every now and then and shouting things like:

“Go for a run, MOVE MOVE MOVE!!!!!!”

Anyone tried to Zi xiu tang detox?

A lot of my friends are doing the “diet the weight away” detox aka zi xiu tang or bee pollen detox. Has anyone tried this? Any bad side effects?

I haven’t tried the Zi xiu tang detox method but know a bit about it. It basically involves taking pills which are are a chinese herbal medication. They contain bee pollen, chinese yams, wolfberry fruit and lotus seeds. My worry about these pills is that you don’t know what else they may contain, and you don’t know how they may react with your body.

My view on detox is that it should be a totally natural process using only natural foods and agents which you know are safe for your body, it’s also vital to have a plan as detoxing is not easy and if you just take pills it’s unlikely to be successful.

There are a few detox programs online which are good and relatively cheap and because they have very detailed plans telling you to do this one day and that the next day are usually very successful, some of them are focused on weight loss as well as detox.

Whatever you do, good luck with it!
