Purchase Fat Burning Diet

I am eighteen years old and am approaching the 200 pound mark. Blah!
I am fully committed to losing 80-90 pounds, and need some help!!!
See, my family is filled with big people. We cook lots of rice and grew up used to eating large portions of food. I know I can change this, but living this way for my whole life has blurred me to what foods are healthy and what not.

I know that cake, cookies, sugary drinks, and pasta are out. I am okay with that.

So then, what should I eat? As far as meals for breakfast lunch and dinner? Am I allowed to have any low calorie snacks in between?
Let me know of some foods/meals that helped you lose weight!

[And I am following this diet plan with excersise as well]

And, what is everyone’s opinion on protein shakes? And when is best to drink them?

I’ve learned that setting one-month plans works better for me verses one permanent plan. For the month of March I’m planning a diet plan where I eat fruit and vegetables (in any form, no added sugar) for two meals a day. I can add salad dressing (typically Good Seasonings), or a bit of oil, salt, pepper, etc to them. I can also have nuts and seeds (such as sunflower seeds in salads). For the third meal, I’m allowed a reasonable meal… such as 3 oz. of chicken with some seasoning or a veggie burger, half a cup of brown rice with salt and pepper, and more vegetables. Dessert is ALWAYS fruit.

As far as drinks go, I can have water, vanilla soy milk (with my one non-veggie meal), tea (unsweetened, iced or hot… I’m allowing myself unsweetened peach iced tea from Dunkin Donuts as a treat).

This will only last for a month. Afterwards, I will start allowing myself occasional treats for special occasions. I may also include "fast days" where I eat nothing but fruits and veggies… no oil, nuts, seeds, or anything other than salt and pepper may be added.

I will mention that I will be eating a variety of fruits and veggies including (but not limited to):
-Carrots
-Broccoli
-Cauliflower
-Edamame
-Apples
-Strawberries
-Peaches
-Pears
-Grapes
-Oranges/Clementines
-Cucumbers
-Pickles (half-sour)
-Black Olives
-Tomatoes (in chili)
-Onions
-Legumes
-Celery

I am also going to be eliminating fried food, white flour products, etc. Protein and fiber are main focuses. I will be including a daily multivitamin in my routine.

Does this sound like an effective plan? Is it safe?

I am 5’2 and about 145 pounds. My goal weight is around 115-120. I am in my early 20s. I have been vegetarian for years and recently I have been looking into the vegan diet for weight loss and as a lifestyle. I have created a menu plan for myself for this week. Keep in mind, everything on it is vegan and portion sized. Excuse my funny names for things. The chocolate crackers are vegan raw food.

Monday: (6 different meals slashes indicate new meal) Fruit salad/Nuts and some carrots/Quinoa, rest of carrots/Vegan fruit smoothie/Quinoa, salad/ Coconut yogurt with cereal

Tues:Cereal with agave and sugar free soymilk with fruit/Carrots and pineapple/2 veggie dogs with jicama/Trail mix/Veggie Turkey, Quinoa, and salad/fruit

Wed:Smoothie, Veggie patties/Chocolate crackers and nuts/Quinoa with kale chips/veggies/Frozen dinner with salad/Coconut yogurt with cereal

Thurs:Fruit salad with fake patties/Carrots and apple/Veg. chicken w/ ketchup, and Cauliflower/Trail mix/Salad with beans rice and veggie meat/fruit

Fri:Cereal with agave and sugar free soymilk/Trail mix/Boca burger w/ ketchup and fake cheese with jicama/ Fruit with dairy free yogurt/Veggie turkey and veggies/Chocolate crackers

Sat:Fruit salad with fake patties/Vegan smoothie/Salad with veggie meat and fake cheese/Veggie mix/Vegan Indian food/fruit

Sun:Cereal with agave and sugar free soymilk with fruit/Vegan smoothie/Lentil soup and salad/Nuts and veggie or fruit/Leftover vegan Indian food/Coconut yogurt with cereal

Anyway, Thats my diet plan plus 3-4 days of 30 minute cardio and wieght lifting. I am going vegan for a month and evaluating how I feel about it. How does this meal plan look? What are your experiences as a vegan? Thanks!

So for my New Year’s Resolution, I’ve decided to lose some weight, about 40 pounds or so. I’m thirteen, 5’3", and I weigh around 164. I don’t look quite as heavy as one would imagine, my body is closer to that a 17-18 year old, as I hit puberty around four years ago. I tend to gain weight in the hips-thigh area.

So I was wondering, what should I be eating? I don’t want to be on some ‘diet plan’, but what are some low fat, low cal, snacks and meals? And I probably prefer the taste of actually healthy foods over the so called ‘light’ junk foods. I’ve been eating stuff like fruits, salads, soups, fish, sandwiches, etc. and taking in about 500-800 calories a day. How many I should I be consuming?

And exercise, what type would be good for me? I’ve been just trying to go on walks, or do some real ‘exercising’ for about thirty minutes a day to start with. I know it would probably be better to go do something outside, but I live in south Georgia, and the weather is horrible, even in January.

Oh, and I feel the need to mention, I’m home-schooled, so I can’t really do any form of sport or anything at a school.
Oh, and also, I can’t really go out and do anything like that because the only thing within an hour of where I live is a Wal-Mart. Perhaps I should run around Wal-Mart? Annnd, I know going to the gym would be great, but when in real life, I have kind of bad SAD(Social Anxiety Disorder), so that would be like way too many people, and social interactions for me.

Overview: They key to any weight loss diet is a solid nutrition plan. GetFitOKC.com will deliver healthy recipe’s each week to add to your diet plan arsenal. Classic Tuscan healthy soup perfect for vegetarians and those looking for a lycopene boost. Tomatoes are especially good for adult males as the cooked tomatoes really aid in prostate health. The flavors from this soup are amazing and completely worth giving it a shot.

Prep time: 30 minutes.

STEP 1: Gather your ingredients. The following makes enough for 4 adults, double this if you are the Brady Bunch.

- small bunch basil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 TBSP balsamic vinegar
- 1 lb cherry tomatoes
- 1 whole grain hoagie bun or equivalent amount of whole grain bread
- (2) 14 oz cans of diced tomatoes
- 4 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper

Step 2: Prepare your ingredients.

Chop the basil and set aside. Cut the crust off of the bread entirely and tear in to small bite size chunks and set aside. Halve all of the cherry tomatoes and set aside. Press the garlic and set aside.

Step 3: Heat up a deep pan (I use a dutch oven) on medium heat. Once heated, add in 2 TBSP of the extra virgin olive oil and garlic. Brown the garlic until it is aromatic. Once you have browned the garlic, add in the 2 TBSP of balsamic vinegar and cook it down until it becomes a bit thicker.

Step 4: Add in the tomatoes and basil. Cook on medium heat until the tomatoes, basil, garlic, and balsamic are a sticky texture. The time this takes can vary, but usually about 7-8 minutes until this occurs. Essentially you do not want much water left from the tomatoes as we want the flavors from the balsamic, basil, and garlic to adhere to the tomatoes.

Step 5: Add in both cans of diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil.

Step 6: Once boiling, fill one of the empty tomato cans with water and add to the pan. Toss in your bite sized chunks of bread and remaining 2TBSP of extra virgin olive oil coating the bread as best as possible. Turn heat down to medium and stir every few minutes until the bread breaks down and creates a velvety texture. This can take 10-15 minutes.

Serve and enjoy. Please post your comments on this recipe. Recipes such as this are critical if you are serious about your fat loss diet. Gaining control over your food intake is easier if you have certain go to recipe’s that are easy to make. This tomato pappa fits the bill nicely and can be quickly and easily made with a minimum of experience.
