Next month my sister and i are going to go on a "cleansing diet" We won’t eat anything processed or refined, basically anything man-made. Basically for the month my sister and i will be jogging first thing every morning, doing a lot of detox things i have in my detox book, drinking lots of water and twice a week going raw vegan. I already don’t eat eggs, dairy and any meat but seafood (I don’t live near the ocean so i eat it quite rarely) so i am already very familiar with vegan cooking and recipes but am having some trouble finding raw food options. i live in China so i am unable to get raw nuts or seeds (there are no health food stores and if there are i have no idea how to find them). I also am not a huge fan of raw vegetables but i am hoping this month will help me get used to them. I also do not have a dehydrator or a spiralizer, only a blender. I really need some simple recipes that are not too extreme so i can start getting more used to raw foods. Thank you for any recipes!
Also i cannot get avocado here.
Oh and berries are too expensive.

Purchase Fat Burning Diet

We ran out of dog food again, we called to order more (we have to order it from the feed store) the guy said he would order it, then we called to see when it would be in, now that were out, only to find out he never ordered it! so they said there not sure when it will be in.. Gah! This is the second time this has happened! We’ve been feeding them Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover’s Soul Adult Formula. So now were totally out, last night i made some plain white rice, with a chicken breast cooked into it. Which of course the dogs really enjoyed, but i feel this isn’t a very complete meal. I’m hoping the food will come in tomorrow, but i fear it may not be until next Monday. So i need to figure out what to feed them until then. What else can i add to this rice chicken mix to make it more complete? things i thought of might be eggs (hard boiled maybe?) Carrots, frozen veggies, or canned pumpkin (i give them pumpkin when there stomach is upset and they love it) We also have plain oatmeal maybe that would be better than rice? or mixed with the rice? I really have no idea,
I’m not sure what else we have that might be good to add, we might be able to go buy some more veggies or something tonight, if my fiance doesn’t have to work too late. What else might be a better meal? I haven’t really had time to look into feeding a raw diet, but i have considered it many times, especially since its so hard to find good dog food here. If anyone has some basic dog food recipes, hopefully ones that don’t call for a lot of fancy ingredients, because we live in a small town and only have a basic grocery store.

it’s from Satin balls recipe. Can I still cook the meat and just put the eggs in and not the shells? It just doesn’t sound right. My dog is picky when it comes to dog food and he is on the slim side so I wanted to put some weight on him with supplementing with the Satin balls. Any ideas on anything else?

I started the atkins diet four days ago and I am running out of food choices. I have been living on meat, eggs, cheese and pork rinds. Does anyone have any suggestions? The induction phase seems more restrictive.

I am raising her as a vegetarian and would like some healthy but yummy meal ideas for her. She eats one scrambled egg in the morning with whole wheat toast & fruit every morning, but for lunches & dinners I need some ideas. I cannot give her what I am eating as I am on a crash only veggie diet. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
I DON’T eat eggs but I do give them to her as she does need protein & she is too young for nuts.

Ok here’s my plan : 5:30am eat cheesy white (no yolk) scrambled eggs w/ whole wheat bread and milk. Around 12:00pm eat salad w/ Italian dressing. water with an apple or something. Then 5:00pm eat either baked fish or chicken. or whole wheat noodles pasta.V8 juice and brown rice. some veggie or broccoli w/ cheese on the side. Also, by drinking water between meals or during lunch, id drink a gallon of water everyday. and not eat after 6:00pm.

is that a good meal plan? here’s my workout scheduled : every day workout by jump rope, hiking, walking, hula hoop, or dancing for an hour or more. plus volleyball at school

is that a good workout plan. im planning to do all of this for around a whole school year. and could you determine how much weight i would lose mabey. thanks so much! -me

So this is my 3rd kitten-related post. I’m working in Bulgaria until next year and I would like to feed my kitten raw foods, however there aren’t supplements in my small town. I doubt there are supplements even in the big cities here. I have access to chicken hearts, livers, breasts, ground beef, chicken wings, sliced pork, processed pork/beef mix (like kofte), sausages, and obviously eggs and dairy. He was a Bulgarian orphaned kitten who has been raised on mother’s milk so far I think.

My question is this: can I raise Tabs (his name) to optimal health with a raw food diets that doesn’t include the supplements that are always present in the BARF recipes? I don’t think asking for Taurine or Omega-3 fatty acids from my local vet will accomplish much.

Raw and natural is the way to go and I’d think just the meat would help Tabs develop the way he was meant to, but what’s the deal with the supplements? I trust REAL and WHOLE foods more than some corporations processed garbage loaded with carbs, I don’t care who it is.

I was watching ‘wife swap’ the other day and there was a family on the show that only ate a raw food diet. And i mean everything was raw, their meat, eggs, they didn’t drink water or milk but the milk fat from their cows and they even aged the raw meat in glass jars. Is this a healthy diet or is this family taking it too far?

I’ve read that protein or complex carbs are good, but since I’ve stopped eating sugar (except for a little bit once a week) I feel like I have so much less energy. I eat really healthy and nothing helps. Today I had a bowl of homemade oatmeal with rice milk and blueberries for breakfast and 3 hours later I wasn’t even hungry but had as little energy as if I hadn’t eaten in a day. I’ve also done high protein breakfasts, like eggs and stuff, but nothing seems to be helping. I do seem to have more energy after supper though. Suggestions anyone?

Help! I want to eat a more natural, unprocessed diet primarily of veggies and fruit. Eggs and seafood are okay too as are nuts, but I don’t want to be soaking nuts or sprouting seeds. I want to get my calcium from vegetable sources rather than dairy and I want to cook my food as well rather than blend and eat everything raw. I need some recipes and support for this lifestyle but I don’t know where I fit in. The raw recipes don’t do it and the macrobiotic ones include soy, which I don’t want to eat either. Anyone know what I’m looking for?

Drinking milk kind of grosses me out for some reason, so I don’t drink it. (I still take vitamin D from a pill) I still eat eggs, too. And also I don’t eat pork. It’s kind of bad for you. I eat vegtables (sp?) and fruits all the time. And bcuz I don’t drink milk, I drink water w/ my lunch @ school, and sometimes I’ll also drink it w/ my breakfast. I walk around the block a couple times a week during the spring and summer, and during the fall and winter I pretty much rely (sp?) on gym class for my exercise since it gets really cold in the winter where I live. What foods do I have 2 cut out of my diet so I can stick to this? (the only thing I can think of that has milk in that I’ll eat is probably like Pop-Tarts, and I hardly ever eat those). And also, what kind of exercises can I do indoors during the winter?

My husband and I have been talking about a vegan Raw/ Living food diet for optimal health and weight loss (90%, as I’d like to keep rolled oats and quinoa in our diets). If we do this, it will be long term since the equipment isn’t cheap! So my question has to do with the fact I am breastfeeding. I know I shouldn’t detox when breastfeeding because toxins will get into my milk supply and transfer to baby. However, as I haven’t eaten meat in almost a year and scarcely for 8 months prior, do I have as much to worry. Why I ask this is because everything I read has been saying that to stop eating meat is the biggest trigger of the detox. Also just changing up my eating habits, I personally don’t believe would detox me as fast as say taking detox herbs and the such. If I’m wrong please tell me! Those who know what they are talking about, please inform me wisely as this is the only thing keeping me from taking this step. Thank you!
Currently do not eat eggs or intake anything dairy. Or almost vegan as I still eat raw honey and don’t feel qualified to call myself vegan.

i keep hearing all these people saying that you should feed your dog raw food, like raw chicken, lamb, hamburger, eggs or ham. but im pretty sure that would do more harm to a dog than good. i have a 1 year old German shepherd & he LOVES meat to put it simply, and i was considering putting him on this diet if it was actually healthy for him.

so is it healthy? or will it kill him?

If so do you have any advice???
I am already a vegetarian. I do not consume alot of dairy products but I do eat eggs occasionally for protein.
If you are a raw-foodist how do you get enough protein and how do you feel about eating this way?

After researching online for a long time the benefits of a raw food diet for my dogs, I think I would like to start. However, where can I start shopping for the raw meats and veggies? I know i can’t just go to wal-mart and buy some chicken and ground meat from the meat dept., right? I know someone said the meat has to fresh, the eggs have to be free range fresh, and the veggies and fruits organic—where am i going to find all this??
