I started on the 7 day soup diet, and am not eating the soup but following the plan. It’s basically no sugar or flour as well. Since I’m taking hydroxycut, exercising, and consuming less than 1000 calories a day.
I’ve been basically on raw foods for the past few days, and tomorrow I am finally allowed to eat beef. up to 20oz of it actually. I don’t think i’ll be able to eat that much. Maybe some for dinner. I’m obviously getting 90% lean ground beef.
Anyway I’m not looking for advice on dieting I know what I’m doing. I just want a creative meal for beef and vegetables I guess.
I know what I’m doing because I’ve tried these type of diets before with success. They work for me that’s why I’m using them to jumpstart my healthy eating plan. I’m also taking a multivitamin, bee pollen, royal jelly. And I hike or walk everyday. You ever hear of fasting?? This is a super cleanse for my body, and I’m also trying to keep the no flour no sugar system because it works! Thanks for everyone else who supplied a recipe.
I want to do either a colon cleanse or a body detox, but not one that is much longer than a week. Preferably just one that lasts a few days..can anyone recommend one?
I basically want to be less bloated, clean the junk out of me, and maybe lose a few pounds…
I’ve had hives over two weeks now, I can’t pinpoint what caused them, and I’m starting to doubt they’re going to go away on their own. I read that most cases last a few days, mine have barely let up in the two weeks I’ve had them, and with no clue as to why, I’m starting to believe I’m a chronic case (even though it hasn’t been six weeks yet). How am I to cope with this? What is a gluten free diet? I read to keep a food diary of what I eat, and how I react, and to soak in cool baths… nothing has been helping though. Not even the steroids! And that just tells me I’m in for serious trouble… am I being to pessimistic? Is there ANY light at the end of this tunnel?!
i started the raw food diet a few days ago, and i feel hungry constantly. i know fruits and vegetables are way less calories than other foods, but i feel like i’m eating so much and im not going to lose any weight. is this normal?
So, I had surgery in my mouth and I need to live on a liquid food diet for about a week. It’s been two days and I’ve been eating yogurt, oatmeal, peanutbutter and ice cream, and I’ve been drinking smoothies and water. I was able to do it for the past two days, but now I am starving and can’t do it anymore. What can I add to my diet for the next few days?
ahh mashed potatoes is a good idea i didn’t even think of that! soda too, that fills me up.
I cut down from my high calorie diet to about 1500 calories for a few days, yeasterday I had probably 1000, and today I’ve had maybe 250 (it’s 5:20 PM here.) I have a TONE of energy–so much it’s making me giddy and manic, like I can’t sit still or focus. What could this be? I am 23, female, 5’9" and around 135 lbs.
I find the past few days I’ve been really tired and low on energy. I know this is part of the detox, but I can’t seem to find information on the duration of this detox part.
Any help will be greatly appriciated, thanks in advance.
For years my staple diet was wheat pitas, rice & very spicy veg/non-veg dishes (typical indian/pakistani foods). Over last six months, I started eating mostly raw fruits & vegetables. While overall effect on health was good, but I started having this persistent toothache. I showed many dentists but after scores of x-rays they could not find anything wrong.
Now, a few days ago, I was at a party & I had to eat traditional Indian/Pakistani food, and lo & behold toothache disappeared. Now I have added wheat Pita etc back into my diet and toothache doesnt bother me any more.
Just wanted to share my experience, & see if my mosty fruit diet was lacking in something. Should I take any supplements along with it.?
So, are u guys saying, cooked vegetables are better than raw ones for teeth? I do drink lots of milk.
To Jen:
But my digestion became super-excellent when I started raw fruits & veggies. All my body functions become much better, except this stupid toothache.
I started about two weeks ago, I am doing between 50- 80 percent raw, and for the last few days especially my poo has been dark and crumbly looking. I know it is not coming all out either. I am not passing gas really much, and I feel bloated and nasty. It is very uncomfortable. Could this be the stuff that was stuck in my intestine? Whats going on?
