There’s something I eat everday, buy it from Whole Foods, it’s called a Musseli Bread Roll, I’ve always thought it super healthy and full of fiber. A personal training friend said it was completely processed food, I disagree. I’ll list the ingredients below. Can a nutritionist please explain if it is "processed," why, and what constitutes a processed food?

organic wheat flour, water, organic raisins, organic cracked rye, organic oats, organic walnuts, organic sunflower seeds, organic flax seeds, organic honey, organic seaseme seeds, sea salt. contains, wheat.

Also, Cliff Bars. They seem to be one of the healthiest energy bars, most "whole" ingredients. Would this be considered a processed bar?

Ingredients: Organic Brown Rice Syrup, ClifPro® (Soy Rice Crisps [Soy Protein Isolate, Rice Flour, Barley Malt Extract], Organic Roasted Soybeans, Organic Soy Flour), Organic Rolled Oats, Dry Roasted Peanuts, ClifCrunch® (Apple Fiber, Organic Oat Fiber, Organic Milled Flaxseed, Inulin [Chicory Extract], Psyllium), Organic Evaporated Cane Juice, Peanut Toffee (Organic Evaporated Cane Juice, Peanuts, Cocoa Butter, Organic Brown Rice Syrup, Dry Roasted Peanuts, Natural Flavors, Salt, Soy Lecithin), Organic Peanut Butter (Organic Dry Roasted Peanuts, Salt), Icing (Organic Evaporated Cane Juice, Cocoa Butter, Soy Flour, Soy Lecithin, Natural Flavors), Peanut Flour, Natural Flavors, Sea Salt, Green Tea Extract (50mg caffeine equivalent).
Thanks!

Thanks for your answer. But I’m now confused… what is the difference between “organic whole wehat flour” and 100% whole wheat flour?? I’ve never seen an ingredient listed that says 100% anything… How do you know that in the Musueli roll, they stripped the wheat of the bran and germ?? Thanks!!

Purchase Fat Burning Diet

I’m trying to create a raw vegan bread, some ingredients might be useful, a raw flour, flax seeds, etc, I may have to experiment though, if noone has any experience in this field.
I have a dehydrator, with stacks.
