I’m planning on doing a detox or colon fast for 3 days. I’m 13 years old, 115lbs and 5′4. Has anyone done a fast before? I wanna just eat organic fruits, veggies and water for 3 days. I’m hoping it will clear my skin, and maybe I’ll lose like 2-3 lbs? And I heard u can take this supplement thing with you meal to make it a colon cleanse? I also thought about a 3 day water fast but I wanna start with just eating raw fruits/veggies. How do I eat before/after a fast? Will I have energy? Pls answer my questions! Thanks
I’ve been doing tons of research for about a year now on the raw food movement. I’ve tried going raw before, but no success. I want to try a different approach, one that very few raw food eaters try. I’m going to start off just eating individual fruits, veggies, and nuts to get my palette used to those foods. besides eating what i really enjoy, what are the living foods i need to eat in order to get my required daily nutrition?
omg….i know what the raw diet consists of, thats not my question. my question is, which individual friends, veggies, etc will suffice for getting my daily needed nutrition?
My boyfriend and I were discussing the raw food diet (which he is on and I am not), he says there are so many benefits and hardly any side effects. I decided to look that up online, while I found thousands of sites saying what a wonderful diet this was, I did not find anything about side effects or people that should or should not be on it. In fact I found nothing negative at all!!! This is really hard for me to believe, so if you have been on this diet and had something negative, could you tell me your experience so I don’t feel like I’m going crazy! Nothing works 100% of the time, right?
The diet I’m talking about is only fruits, veggies, and nuts or seeds. No meat or diary and no cooking anything.
