I am thinking about starting my two dogs on a raw food diet. I have a yorkie and german shepherd. I dont know how much to feed them. Also, is raw food safe? I dont want them to get sick or get a disease. Please tell me what kind of raw meat I can feed them. What parts are acceptable, and where to get them. I usually just go to walmart or sams club to get meats. Thank you:)

i keep hearing all these people saying that you should feed your dog raw food, like raw chicken, lamb, hamburger, eggs or ham. but im pretty sure that would do more harm to a dog than good. i have a 1 year old German shepherd & he LOVES meat to put it simply, and i was considering putting him on this diet if it was actually healthy for him.

so is it healthy? or will it kill him?

I would like to start them on a raw meat, raw vegetable, and oat diet that I make at home. How much should I feed my 12 wk springer spaniel pup and my 83 pound senior German shepherd. If you have other suggestions you would like to add that would be great!
