Hi,

My dog is slowly recovering from a terrible gastritis (GI track upset). She is 4 years old, a rottweiler. She is slowly eating some food, so we are very hopeful that she will be able to recover quickly and get back to eating normal amounts of food. However, since the vet was never able to figure out what caused this terrible gastric infection, she may never be able to eat regular dog food again. Or at least for couple months.
Does anyone know about any proper, good natural diet for dogs? Like in cases, when dogs are allergic to certain foods, or when they are sickly and need to be on highly nutritious food? I am looking for some recipes or recommendations as to what I could start feeding her once she comes home from hospital. I heard about raw diet for dogs, but I am not sure if that’s not too early to feed.
Please, advise if you can.

I have a new boerboel and i want to feed him a totally raw diet. Don’t judge me im not making some fightin dog or doing this because i think it’s cool. He’s an indoor dog. I believe raw diets are healthier and have owned malamutes and molassers before. I just want to make sure that he gets ALL the nutrition he needs from this raw diet so should i give him raw nuts too? So could someone just tell me a raw diet for dogs thanks.

I am very interested in changing my dog (pomeranian) to a raw diet and I was wondering how many people recommend a raw diet for dogs? And if you do I would like an example of exactly what type of food you feed it? And if there are specific dog types that shouldn’t have a raw diet?
