I have acne, freckles, reddish skin, and a few wrinkles. I am thinking of going on the raw food diet to improve my skin. Has anyine tried this and gotten any significant results…. and if so how long before results were noticable??? Also were the results minor or significant, and what exactly were the results?? i go on a 100% raw diet every now and again to get more nutrients. lately i have gained 10 kg via emotional bingeing. i hear that eating a raw food diet will lead to quick weight loss, but for me its a hard lifestyle to maintain for life. is there a way i can eat cooked food and maintain any weight loss i achieve through raw foodism (if i of course watch my calorie intake)? or is there more to it? thx

I have been on a little of a health kick lately and trying to eat better. So, I though if I’m going to eat less processed foods why not do the same with my dog.

I don’t feed raw, probably never will go the whole route, but I’m interested in it, interested in learning more about it, and interested in incorporating it into my dogs’ diets.

I decided to try and switch my dogs dry food to a raw food intake. I did google the subject and i didnt find any cons to the raw food diet, plus, i never been comfortable with the dry food..

I was reading and have watched some tv coverage on the raw food diet and was intrigued for many reasons. I started my dog on the raw food diet, since I live in a very small town, I don’t have to many choices on where to get the meat. Anyways, I’m hoping that if I stock up on meat on sale, and keep it in the freezer, would all the nutrients/vitamins still be in the meat when I defrost it?(Not in the microwave, I mean naturally) And how long does meat usually last in the freezer?

I’m not much of a meat eater, so i don’t know too much about meat.

So it’s official. Price per pound, it’s way cheaper to go the raw food diet than buying the quality dry cat food. So that’s what we’re doing.
