Next month my sister and i are going to go on a "cleansing diet" We won’t eat anything processed or refined, basically anything man-made. Basically for the month my sister and i will be jogging first thing every morning, doing a lot of detox things i have in my detox book, drinking lots of water and twice a week going raw vegan. I already don’t eat eggs, dairy and any meat but seafood (I don’t live near the ocean so i eat it quite rarely) so i am already very familiar with vegan cooking and recipes but am having some trouble finding raw food options. i live in China so i am unable to get raw nuts or seeds (there are no health food stores and if there are i have no idea how to find them). I also am not a huge fan of raw vegetables but i am hoping this month will help me get used to them. I also do not have a dehydrator or a spiralizer, only a blender. I really need some simple recipes that are not too extreme so i can start getting more used to raw foods. Thank you for any recipes!
Also i cannot get avocado here.
Oh and berries are too expensive.

Purchase Fat Burning Diet

I am on an 80% vegan diet. About twenty percent of my diet is dairy. Organic cheese, an organic egg once a month, cake at a party, but for health reasons, I’d like to do a diet that is half raw vegan, half cooked vegan. Anyone have any quick recipes for me? Diet staples? What equipment, if any do I need to invest in? I heard that a lot of raw vegans invest in juicers, food processors, etc. What do I need?

I am not 100% raw, but I definitely believe in the power of raw fruits and vegetables (I am around 80% raw, vegan, and I take b12, iron, calcium, vitamin D supplements).
The long term strict raw vegans out there look so unhealthy.
Matt Monarch, I love you, but don’t you agree that he looks sickly?
I have yet to see a truly healthy looking LONG-TERM strict raw vegan.
If you know any, please tell me.

Alissa Cohen Living on Live Foods

"Everybody knows Cohen". As an internationally recognized author, speaker, raw food chef and consultant, Alissa Cohen is a one woman Raw Foodist Enterprise. She has enough clout and name recognition in the "raw foodist" niche to get away with having her website domain be her real name AlissaCohen.com.

Alissa first gained some notoriety from TV appearances promoting her book, "Living on Live Food". The book has been well accepted in North America, Canada, England, Australia, and other English speaking countries. Equipped with her book filled with raw food diet recipes, people might feel better prepared to investigate how to start a raw food diet.

Her book, personal appearances, teaching, and now her website, have continued to keep her raw food mission in the limelight. Alissa’s endeavors are all about an all raw food diet, and eating a raw food diet.

Until recently, Alissa also personally taught or mentored others teaching raw food classes for three levels of certification in her Living on Live Food Program. Cohen also is a restaurateur, and a pioneer in the the Raw Food Restaurant business with her first offering, The Grezzo Restaurant, located in the historic North End of Boston. Grezzo is billed as Boston’s premiere 100% raw organic vegan restaurant.

Alissa Cohen has many passions, all related to healthy living, including her own clothing line, "Live Juicy Eat Raw" made of Fair Trade Organic Cotton.

One thing that is odd about raw food cookbooks, is that there is no cooking involved in preparing raw food meals. Maybe they should be called un-cookbooks, or anti-cookbooks. Another brain twister for some people is why you need to go to the trouble of making raw food look like conventional cooked foods. Maybe it has to do with some notion of haute cuisine, or making raw food more palatable to the masses of non foodists.

New raw foodies may take some time actually getting used to the idea of "raw food cookbooks" and devoting time to raw food recipes, mostly getting by on the staples of raw fruits and vegetables at first. However, once you get your raw foodist stripes and are in a groove, this may be the first raw food cookbook you want to look at buying to have in your kitchen. Follow the tasty looking banner link at the bottom to shop at Alissa Cohen’s website for just about anything related to a rad food diet.

The Alissa Cohen website is also a treat on the eyes, well organized, and packed with useful information. This is the first of the raw food reviews devoted to a multi-faceted raw foodist that has combined passion, some obvious talent, and marketing savvy into several thriving businesses related to the raw food movement. In my secret life Cohen is exactly the way most raw foodists see themselves, living the raw food lifestyle and not shy about telling the world about it.

One great way is to use garlic in your salad dressings, as in the recipe below (borrowed from Living on Live Food by Alissa Cohen).
