We ran out of dog food again, we called to order more (we have to order it from the feed store) the guy said he would order it, then we called to see when it would be in, now that were out, only to find out he never ordered it! so they said there not sure when it will be in.. Gah! This is the second time this has happened! We’ve been feeding them Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover’s Soul Adult Formula. So now were totally out, last night i made some plain white rice, with a chicken breast cooked into it. Which of course the dogs really enjoyed, but i feel this isn’t a very complete meal. I’m hoping the food will come in tomorrow, but i fear it may not be until next Monday. So i need to figure out what to feed them until then. What else can i add to this rice chicken mix to make it more complete? things i thought of might be eggs (hard boiled maybe?) Carrots, frozen veggies, or canned pumpkin (i give them pumpkin when there stomach is upset and they love it) We also have plain oatmeal maybe that would be better than rice? or mixed with the rice? I really have no idea,
I’m not sure what else we have that might be good to add, we might be able to go buy some more veggies or something tonight, if my fiance doesn’t have to work too late. What else might be a better meal? I haven’t really had time to look into feeding a raw diet, but i have considered it many times, especially since its so hard to find good dog food here. If anyone has some basic dog food recipes, hopefully ones that don’t call for a lot of fancy ingredients, because we live in a small town and only have a basic grocery store.

Purchase Fat Burning Diet

‘m to mind him for the next three months or so and I knew he was coming but I expected an older dog since this is way too young.
I cannot send him back to his parents, it’s not a viable option as I am his guardian for a little while now.
I’ve put him in a puppy pen with a crate inside, some food and some puppy milk (I don’t think he has been weaned) and a puppy pad.
He drank heaps, ate a bit and fell straight to sleep.
Please don’t judge me I was asked to mind this dog for a little while but this young I did not expect is there anything I can do to help him?
He has only cried a little bit before going to sleep.
Please, any advice?
(He is being fed a raw food diet I found the correct recipe and made some up today when I found out he was coming, he enjoys it. The puppy milk is lactose free)
Please any advice?
(P.S I’ve wormed him and he has been vaccinated I don’t think he’s been wormed before (BIG stomach) so I’m expecting a lot of worms soon, I’ve also brushed his teeth thoroughly since they were already major black spots on his teeth)
Also Is it too young to start house breaking him?
I’m not sure.
THANKS!
(I posted this a little while ago but I didn’t get many answers)
I’m letting my other dogs play with him (supervised) and he enjoys that, they are 4 and 5 months old, I think that’s okay do you?

I’m not trying to be gross, but today I had a craving for a cheeseburger so I went to McDonalds and got a super size quarter pounder with cheese. About an hour after I ate it, my stomach started hurting and then I "went to the toilet" and it was green. I haven’t had fast food in about three months. Do you think it was because of that or did I just get a bad meal? Please help!
Yes, I know McDonalds is total garbage and I usually eat healthy but I am pregnant and craved a cheeseburger. I have learned my lesson!

I’ve always been skinny and I’ve always eaten whatever I wanted, I started eating really healthy because now I live with a great cook that cooks really healthy foods, but lately I’ve had really bad stomach aces.. should I be worried? I’m not going to change my diet back though because I like the food I’ve been eating, like tonight for example i had a really good spinach soup.

What should I eat, drink or do to revive my energy?

coffee works wonders, but gives me terrible stomach aches. does chai or other tea have the same effect (on energy and stomach)?

thank you
sorry- I asked this question about an hour ago (it was not very popular), but I wanted to see if I could get a larger range of answers

So I have the flu and I feel very weak because I haven’t been eating. The sight of food alone makes me nauseous. I have to eat something for energy just to get me through the day.

What are some foods and drinks that will not upset my stomach so much? So far I’ve been having lots of tea. What else?

I have intense volleyball tryouts for like 2 weeks. I want to know what kind of foods I should eat so I have enough energy during the tryouts. Foods dat can be digested in less than 2 hours so I don’t feel sick in the stomach. I need foods that can make me last in the court too. Anyone know any kind of foods or lunches?

I’ve been recently trying to lose weight and have a tendency to overeat at mealtimes. My friend eats these energy/fiber bars, one for breakfast, one for dinner and a normal dinner.

I tried this yesterday and did yoga and I feel amazing today. My stomach feels flat, I have energy and want to keep it up. Are these bars so terrible? If I did this until I reached my goal weight would that be so unhealthy. What are your thoughts??

I’ve been hearing ALOT about various colon cleanse products. Some seem legit others..not so much. Butt ; ) the concept does seem to make alot of sense and is something I’d like to try.
I have a pretty sensible and healthy diet, drink lots of water, exercise butt can’t seem to lose these last few lbs around my stomach. I can honestly say I’ve never been one of those people who "go" everyday but lately I feel rather bloated (look it too) and uncomfortable.
Would something like Activia be just as good to help me "empty out" and possibly lose some of my bloated belly. But I also do really like the idea of ridding myself of toxins…so that’s why I thought a cleanse might be better. I’ve heard alot of good about Colonx by Dr Natura..but again is their one that can be bought @ an actual nutrition store?
**if you are a company trying to sell or promote your product please don’t even bother..looking for honest unbiased answers & feedback
Eli..did I not state I already DO have a sensible diet? Better than most as in I drink lots of water, try buying organic products, stay away from hormones or processed foods….you sound a BIT like a bogus poster as in I also stated no one pushing products. Some of thos eso called "free trials" get you sucked into an auto shipment that bill you upwards or or more per month. SO NOT what I’m looking for.
*** Good idea though abou the setting up on secondary gift/credit card ; )

**some of the product that I saw avail able @ the health &nutrition store (more naturual than say the GNC type) were:
Super Colon Cleanse by Health Plus
Super Cleanse by Natures Secret
Simple Cleanse by Enzmatic Therapy

I’m really stubborn and refuse to start eating a ton of food I hate (like salad) just to lose weight…but I also want so much to be thinner and healthier!

I eat a lot of bread, stuff like pizza, noodles, cereal, and fast food (french fries or chicken nuggets) maybe once every like 10 days on average. I don’t eat many vegetables or fruits, but I’m trying to eat more. I don’t like much fruit other than apples, bananas, strawberries, grapes, and pineapple (and ketchup lol). And I can’t think of many vegetables I like. Broccoli I guess? And potatoes of course. :(

And I live for things like potato chips, chocolate chip cookies and snack cakes, so I eat those a lot, too.

The only drinks I drink are milk, OJ and water.

Based on that, how can I go on a diet to lose my stomach and thighs and just be healither?

I have gastroparesis, or stomach paralysis. And because of this, I need to change my diet. I know about eating 6-8 times a days and to go for the softer foods. But I living on ensure, slimfast, and yogurt alone can get boring, and I may be dealing with this for a long time.

Can anyone give me a good website that details what kind of foods I can eat and what I should avoid. And I do mean details. Finding generalities is too easy. Thanks ya’ll!

I adopted a 2 year old Boston Terrier 3 days ago from a lady who has had him since he was a puppy. She told me he has been on Evo Red Meat for his entire life, so naturally im still feeding him that. However, I have noticed his poop is green and slightly mooshy. What could be causing this? I know its not eating grass as I live in an apartment so whenever he is outside I am ALWAYS with him. Plus, his poop smells VERY BAD.. I’ve had dogs my entire life, so I know what it smells like, but this is very very bad. I have a strong stomach but it even makes me gag. None of the dogs I have ever owned have had poop smell like this. Do you think I should change his food? He is apperently allergic to chicken and that will give him major Diharrea… Do you think its his food causing his poop to be green, mooshy, and super stinky?
No he does not eat any grass.. I’ve been watching him closely to make sure it isnt grass

I usually drink it iced. but not freezing cold, so I do not think its the temperature. even when its mildly cold, it gives me headaches and a feeling that I might throw up. it usually goes away after a few minutes. but it is super inconvinient because I’m drinking it for health reasons! I usually drink it with food. not without so I don’t think it’s related to my stomach.

A friend asked for my opinion on a Japanese water filter that produces alkaline ionized water. I am VERY skeptical that purified water can have any effect on health, unless your tap water contains pollutants. I mean, the acidity of the stomach is fairly well regulated and will probably negate the effects of something like this (won’t it?).

The thing is, she is very convinced. I don’t want to be rude to her, but I want to tell her that there is no scientific basis (is there?). How can I do this in a tactful way? Or should I give this water filter a chance?

I’ve started a new diet and its basically large amounts of raw fruit, veggies, and a bit of meat here and there. And I’ve noticed my stomach has been rumbling and my anus exploding with gas here and there. Anyone else notice this?
Edit to the smart ass’es that rumbling in the stomach is actually the stomach…

I completely ment rumbing in the abdominal, aka, gas.. No burp gas, fart gas.

I am quite familiar with healthy eating, raw foodism, and nutrition (working on a B.S. in nutritional science) though my question needs to be answered by someone with far more insight than myself. I understand what enzymes are, how they work, and am a believer in both digestive therapeutic applications. I am also a fan of the raw food diet for the clean, simple, and ‘living’ factor, but cringe when I read about raw foodists ‘selling’ the notion that eating raw foods will increase enzyme activity in the body. As far as I know, our body starts producing enzymes in the form of amylase as soon as we begin to salivate for food. The harsh environment of the stomach denatures most proteins, which includes enzymes. How can we say that the enzymes are still in tact in the stomach on top of saying that they are ready and willing to help break down the foods that they let sit so nicely in front of us before they were consumed?
Thanks you guys, but just so you know, this is less of a personal question, and more of a scientific one. Also, I am not speaking about the consumption of raw meat, but about that of vegetables and/or dairy products
