Today is my first volleyball tournament, I have no idea what to eat for constant energy, help?
Well we have to play 5 teams on the league today alone from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm and i have to idea what to pack for a lunch or what to eat for breakfast to not slow my and and to keep me energized. Please help, if this helps I had a huge bowl of Chicken Rovolie w/ Alfrado sauce last night. mmmmmmmm

Beef Jerky!! It has tons of protein!!
POP TARTS! I know it sounds weird, but if you eat them about 10 minutes before the game, you will have a BURST of energy!!
Sandwiches that are LOADED with meat!! That will give you even more protein!!
Throughout the day maybe eat a few sugary things, like cupcakes if you have them, or sugar cookies. Those always help with the energy. Throughout the day, try to stay on your feet, but not too much, just don’t try and take a nap or anthing like that it will make you groggy!!

ok i dont really know but DONT drink those energy drinks because i dont know if you know already but theygive you alot of energy and then a few min later they make you crash an worn out

Drink Gatorade…electrolytes!!
Pack a can of nuts, whatever kind you like, for protein, filling and energy. The ravioli may make you feel too full or heavy/lethargic.

Don’t buy those other energy drinks, they can sugar you up for a bit, or make your heart race too fast, then drop you like a failed parachute. Absolutely avoid them, especially if you have never used them!!!
Unlike what another poster said, a one hour nap has been proven to do more for you than longer/shorter. If you can rest for an hour, do it.
Probie I would suggest pack spaghetti or ravioli and dry salad makings, like carrots and celery sticks. Carry some water. gook luck in the league today.
