What is a good source for finding a veggie diet meal plan?
Hey Guys n Gals,
I’m curious about starting a veggie diet. I’ve lost a lot of weight, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about a balanced vegetarian meal plan. I’m not just looking into it for the fat thing, but more for an overall lifestyle and health change. Any good sources for a veggie diet meal plan?

Hey, good question. i was once in your shoes also! i found this site, which has a veggie diet plan for a pretty modest price. as they say, you get what you pay for, so i never trust free sites, but here’s the site:

BACON wrapped Veal
Me and my buddy blaine like hot dogs in tortillas. Ketchup is a vegetable right?
I also like volcano tacos (with lettuce)
sparkpeople.com
you can create meal plans with vegitarian prefrences
Sparkpeople is a great resource and easy to use!
Bookwise, there are great things being said about the Engine 2 diet. http://tinyurl.com/amazon-engine-2
There is also goveg.com and vegforlife.org that are great starting places.
Good luck! I lost weight without trying to when I became vegan. Although it wasn’t the goal of the transition, it was a nice side effect!

You could also check out Vegan Nutritionista’s new vegan meal plan. It has a month’s worth of normal, everyday (not gourmet) dinners, as well as ideas for leftovers for lunch. There are 20 menus with 64 recipes, pictures, weekly grocery lists, and nutrition information for each recipe from nutritiondata.com. She also includes tips and techniques on cooking and interesting ingredients.
National body challenge(1) has a vegetarian meal plan. I don’t use it as a meal plan, but it has great recipes, and give information about what you are eating and what nutrients are in the food.
It will create the meal plan for you, or you can add/subtract what you want to eat that day.
James is right about this one.
